Milton Youth Soccer Club provides all MYSC coaches with opportunity of further learning. 

MYSC will also be hosting Coaching Development Clinics throughout the year. 

Experienced coaches/trainers are there to provide learning opportunties for new and seasoned coaches.

Session: FUNdamentals (U6-U8 Male and U6-U8 Female)
Time:  April 13th 9-5pm
Location: Craig Kielburger Secondary School Milton

Session:  Learn to Train (U9-U12 Male and U8-U11 Female)
Time:  March 23 and 24 - 8am-5pm
Location: Craig Kielburger Secondary School Milton

Session:  Soccer For Life (12+ Male and 11+ Female)
Time:  April 6 and 7 - 8am-5pm
Location:  Craig Kielburger Secondary School Milton

OSA Coaching Courses

During the spring, MYSC offers OSA Coaching courses.  All coaches House League or Competitive are welcome to attend the courses. 

If you are interested in these courses or would like more information, please contact our Head Coach. 

For those who are interested in coaching a Rep/Select/All-Star team, you must meet the minimum OSA Level requirement as outlined below. 

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR NEW COACHING PROGRAM FOR ONTARIO IN 2012

As of January 2012, the following Community Coaching Certificate Courses are no longer available.

·       Community Children (6-10yrs)

·       Community Youth (10-14yrs)

·       Community Senior (14-18+yrs)

These courses are now replaced with new content which is based on the Wellness to World Cup Long-Term Player Development Program (LTPD) developed by the CSA focused on the needs of players at different development stages:

NEW Community Coaching Courses

The Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) has now completed work on the Community Stream for the new coaching program. The courses in the new program are now available in Ontario.

NB #1  To Clarify if you are coaching female and males who turn 6 years old in 2012 you need to complete  FUNdamentals

NB #2   To Clarify if you are coaching males that turn 9 years old in 2012 or females that turn 8 years old in 2012 you need to complete Learn To Train

NB #3  To clarify, if you are coaching female players who turn 11 in 2012 (born in 2001) or male players who turn 12 in 2012 (born in 2000) and you do not have your senior diploma (from the old system), you will need to complete Soccer for Life and MED
